   The food is mostly bland and does not cater to Indian taste ,the papad and chutney were good and tandoori chicken was decent but everything else is lacking in flavour

   We had a great experience! The food was authentic and truly excellent and service was prompt, polite and attentive. Our vote for best Indian on the UES, and we’ve tried them all.

   I ate here a year ago and the lamp chops were amazing, so I was excited to have them again. Unfortunately this time, the breading was soggy and there was a weird after charred taste. The table was so crowded, but they left the chargers on the table and didn't even think to remove them to make room for new dishes. Service was slow. The potato-filled bread was terrific. That was the one highlight in an average meal.

   Everything was great. My only complaint is that the food came out five minutes after it was ordered. There is a difference between good service and rushed service. But, all in all, this restaurant is quite good and worth visiting.

    Unfortunately, it was not the greatest of the experience. I had chosen this Indian restaurant because i found it on the guide Michelin. The food lacked of spices and taste. The chicken and lamb were dry which was very disappointing, almost like if the food was reheated. The service was good.
