- KKirstyHawaii •17 reviews5.0Dined todayTucked beneath the bustling streets of the Sydney CBD, Neptune's Grotto is the latest venture from the powerhouse hospitality group behind some of the city’s most beloved dining spots—Clam Bar and Pellegrino 2000—and it’s nothing short of spectacular. An underground Italian eatery with an effortlessly cool, intimate vibe, this new arrival is a masterclass in creating a dining experience that feels both exclusive and utterly inviting. Step inside, and you’re immediately wrapped in warmth. The dim glow of low lighting and plush banquettes invite you to settle in, and the hum of conversation feels like a secret well-kept. It’s the perfect antidote to the city’s relentless energy—a sanctuary where the only thing louder than the ambience is the symphony of flavours on your plate. Neptune's Grotto is more than just a meal; it’s an experience. A place to escape, indulge, and revel in the magic of beautifully crafted Italian food. It’s a must-visit.More infoNeptune's GrottoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Sydney CBD•4.9
- NNickiNew South Wales •1 review4.0Dined todayWe have been going to Garfish for many years now and have to say that we have always found the dishes to be exceptional. However, today (March 2025), we were a little disappointed with the quality of two dishes. The salt & pepper squid was pretty good but the old version was tastier (no batter, a little fresh chilli & harissa on the side). We then had the fish & chips, hake was used which was fine but quite large fillets and the chips were a little soft. I believe previously, flathead was used and the batter was super light and crunchy and the chips were always a highlight...super crunchy also. The sashimi was excellent.More infoGarfish Crows NestPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Crows Nest•4.6
