The 1867 is the renowned licensed eatery, for a treat, located at Heart of The Shires Shopping Village on the A5, just north of Weedon, in the beautiful county of Northamptonshire.Surrounded by beautiful countryside in the centre of England with lots of lovely boutique shops too! We have many guests who conveniently meet here at the 1867 with friends, family and business associates from all over the country and indeed abroad. Well behave dogs are very welcome with water and treats on arrival.We are open from 9.30am for breakfast, every day, including bank holidays ( with exception to Christmas Day and Boxing Day ).Our popular Afternoon Tea offering is available from 2pm until 5pm – please pre-book with any specific dietary requirements.Our crew genuinely want you to leave our eatery ‘feeling better than you came in’ and we will do our upmost to make this happen.     An elegantly decorated restaurant with a nice ambience, amazing staff and lovely food. Whilst the prices of the dishes may seem slightly pricey, the portion sizes are very generous and the food is delicious so in my opinion, absolutely worth the money. We were a family of 7 and everyone enjoyed their meals, including 2 children who had the adult/main dishes instead of the kids dishes (with leftovers as a takeaway!). The staff were really friendly and attentive, they even repeated the dry ice vapour for us when serving our meals as the children missed it as they had gone to the toilets. Couldn’t fault a thing and would absolutely recommend going here for a special occasion.

    My daughter and I had lunch today.The food was lovely and the staff as usual were very attentive and pleasant. This is always my favourite place to go.. Today we were given a 10% off for our next booking, 10% off for the plant barn and 10% off for the Art gallery.

    My friend and I had the fixed price menu and the food was exceptional. The atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable and the service superb. An excellent way to spend a pre Christmas lunchtime!
