Holy smokes ! Blown away ! Our server Shelly (sp) was amazing ! Her recommendation of the Tataki salad was 100000% spot on . With the bread and sauces to start , followed by that salad , we couldn’t imagine it getting better . Enter the butternut squash risotto. To the moon ! Followed by the eye steak Korean style . We had so much fun on our impromptu date . Thank you Shelly for making our day amazing ! Can not wait to come back ! The spicy kitty is a must get as well as the house soda . I had two dishes. The appetizer was a special; veal donburi with black truffle. For my main course I had the Spaghetti AOP. Both of these dishes were delicious. The pasta was cooked to perfection. I could have enjoyed a bit more pepperoncini (the P in AOP). Will definitely going back!

All of the food and the service was fantastic. It is a little pricey but if you can’t pay don’t go. Portions were great for the price couldn’t finish my food. Got the clams and the pho both were amazing to be honest might’ve been the best clams I ever had. Only complaint would be that it was loud but that’s the guests not the restaurant would definitely go back 10/10.

This restaurant should be on every foodie’s list. Every dish was perfect and the wine list is very good. Our group of five sampled the ahi cigars, the falafel fries, bone marrow with relish, the tag tagliatelle and he main course triple smoke salmon. We have never had salmon as perfectly cooked as this. Intense flavors from the smoking, perfectly rare salmon that slid onto the fork. We will return again and again. Definitely the best restaurant in Hawaii. Do not let the grubby atmosphere of Chinatown dissuade you from trying this restaurant. Especially if you are dining early, there is plenty of foot traffic, there are several busy restaurants close by and we did not feel at all uncomfortable walking from the restaurant to our car.

Sat in the back lanai, which had a cozy intimate atmosphere. Food is always good here at O'Kims. Truffle Mandoo is a fave; stone bibimbap hit the right spot, especially with the purple rice substitution. The Oxtail Mandoo Kook Soo was also unique and delicious.
