Built in 1899, Captain W. “Diver” Johnston at the age of 52 collaborated with his business partner (William H. Virden) to build a beautiful new house for him and his wife, Isabella. It was a terrific meal from the moment we sat down. Our waiter noticed that a window table had opened and offered to move us there. We started with a serving of traditional guacamole. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. Then we both tried two new menu items: carne asada and the cali burrito. Both were delicious. Really wonderful evening.
