    My second lunch at Plate Italiano Moderno - Leawood. I was even more impressed this time. I ordered a pasta dish the first time and this visit the mushroom pizza was calling my name. It was delicious! To visit any restaurant during the holiday season I expect the noise level to be unbearable. I was pleasantly surprised that despite the number of large groups surrounding our two-top, we were able to converse fairly well.

    Had an early lunch with 3 friends; excellent service; I had the lasagna, which was warm and wonderful. 2 others had great meals. 1 decided too much spice on her mussels, but this was quickly replaced by mussels cooked in wine. So ALL were happy with the meal, restaurant and the service. We will continue to be regular customers.

    Tori was the best server we’ve ever had at your lovely establishment She went above & beyond in providing excellent support & suggestions for entrees plus attentive to refilling drinks extra biscuits w/ yummy butter & the desert was divine I have seafood allergies so she was careful to check & recheck my custom pasta w/ grilled chicken was created perfectly & so delicious.
