I have lunch at Connor’s at least once a month. I view it as a combination of excellent food and reasonable prices. I’m particularly fond of their half price happy hour. It’s pretty easy to have a delicious meal and a beer for $20. That’s hard to find these days. Today our server was Frank and he couldn’t have been more attentive. He let us take our time before before ordering, checked if we needed anything during the meal and then wrapped up leftovers for us. If you haven’t gone already, treat yourself to lunch at Connor’s and I think you’ll be happy.

This was our first time here. Menu selections are great and varied. Had the Korean BBQ meatloaf and it was so good; sweet and spicy and very, very filling. Would definitely have it again. The salmon was also excellent as was the short rib fettucini. We all cleaned out plates . Banana pudding dessert was a winner as well. We particularly liked the pace of the meal; having time to have cocktails without any rush to order. Service was excellent. The only drawback is the noise level. It gets very loud and can interfere a little with conversation. But we will go back.

We dined at Coopers Hawk Winery & Restaurant for my birthday celebration. Our Waitress, Paula, was very helpful, since it was our first time at Coopers Hawk, with choosing our wine, dinner and surprised us with a delightful birthday truffle dessert. We had the steak medallion lunch and it was tender, cooked to our request and delicious. We will be back to Coopers Hawk.

Based on reviews and having to book more than a week in advance, we accepted an early reservation and are so glad we did. I consider La Violetta to be in the top three restaurants in Sarasota after dining there just this one time. Exceptional dishes for us were the ravioli osso buco and the sardine appetizer. Our server Frederico was exceptional. We'll be back.

Our server must of have had too many tables. We did not receive the exceptional service that we have experienced in the past. The food as always was exceptional, worth every penny spent on the marvelous steak. The piano music was so loud that we could not have conversation at the table. I realize that it is Christmas party season so that accounts for a bit of noise in the restaurant. We will be back again after the holiday season when we know that service will be back to the exceptional standard of Micheals on East
