Next morning wait staff was good but I had to get up to ask the hostess for more of a refill of coffee (no big deal), otherwise wait staff was good.More infoState Street ProvisionsPrice: Moderate• American• Financial District•4.6

- KKathyGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoFin Point is a very nice restaurant located at the Dagny Hotel in Boston; we were in town for Christmas and wound up at Fin Point nearly every night because we loved the atmosphere and food. Most of the meals are somewhat pricey (although probably not when compared to other Boston dining establishments) but the restaurant does offer flatbreads, salads, soups and appetizers if the entrees seem a bit expensive. However, the food is worth the cost! We had the meatball and ricotta flatbread twice because we loved it so much, and both the ravioli and bolognese were excellent. We were also pleased to note that there was a good draft beer selection. As the restaurant was decorated for the holidays it was was extremely cozy and that's one of the main reasons we kept returning; the staff was another since everyone was pleasant and helpful. I would point anyone looking for a tasty meal and a comfortable atmospshere to Fin Point without hesistation.More infoFin PointPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Financial District•4.5

The waitress was very engaging but not over the top. Drinks and food came pretty quickly. I would definitely go back.More infoBostonia Public HousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Financial District•4.5

Discover Financial District
The Financial District of Boston has a history dating back to colonial times. Reflective of those days gone by, you'll still find pubs--or public houses--in the neighborhood. These are great not only for finding a drink but also for enjoying a classic lobster roll. Thanks to Boston's proximity to the ocean, seafood of all types is big in the Financial District, and oyster bars are a particular seafood highlight. Of course, there's more than just seafood here; in the Financial District, you'll find cuisine from all over the world. Select from among Irish, Italian or Mediterranean fare if you're feeling intercontinental. Of course, good old American bar-and-grills -- with staples like burgers, steaks and deli sandwiches -- are also popular in the Financial District.
