- AAnne-MarieGloucestershire/Wiltshire •1 review4.0Dined 1 day agoWonderful food. We went there for a special occasion and were not disappointed by our first experience of the World Tapas menu. We ordered 5 tapas dishes and 4 sides between 3, and that was heaps of food. Working out at just over £20/head for our savoury course(s). The cheese dumplings were fabulous! A highlight of a Windle family pub. It was a quiet evening, which meant waiting staff were at a loose end so chatting to one another - at one point we could hear their banter, but not get their attention! However they were quick to help once I was able to catch them. Good value High quality food. Thank you for helping us celebrate.More infoThe Royal Wootton BassettPrice: Moderate• British• Swindon•4.6
- PPeterGloucestershire/Wiltshire •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe main courses were delicious as always. I can particularly recommend the pork, its my favourite, although this time I forgot to request mashed potatoe in place of chips. They make the best sticky toffee pudding, made better by requesting a second scoop of ice cream - one scoop isn't quite enough. The banoffee desert was a little disappointing - apparently the filling was delicious butb theb bottom of the wrap thing was hard - maybe overcooked. We will be returning.More infoThe Bell InnPrice: Moderate• British• Swindon•4.8

- SSarahGloucestershire/Wiltshire •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoBooked a table for New Year’s Day with husband. I’m a lover of good food. Not fancy food, just good food. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was exceptional. The cook knows how to cook. I had just a simple fish and chips. This is a funny dish, sounds so basic yet easy to get wrong. The batter was light and crispy, the fish was fleshly and fresh tasting. The chips were skin on and perfect. Husband had a char grilled burger which he really liked. I highly recommend a visit. My only wish was that one of the fires had been lit but that is asking too much of staff on New Years Day. Maybe next time.More infoThe PelicanPrice: Moderate• Pub• Marlborough•3.7
- HHelenCambridge/Cambridgeshire •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 28, 2024The food is exceptional, with a great variety of local produce and fish dishes. The selection of beers and wine is also a mix of local and worldly. We were there on a Saturday lunch time and despite there being a few large tables the service was great and the food arrived in good time.More infoThe WheatsheafPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Hungerford•4.5
