Discover Kapaa

Kapaa, on the island of Kauai, is a charming, historic town with no limit to exciting and unique dining options. From tiny hole-in-the-wall establishments to fine dining on the beach with spectacular views, there's something for everyone in Kapaa. Visitors can find seafood and sushi bars, natural and organic fare, and of course American food. Look for a local market serving Korean kimchee or Japanese pastries called manju, or you could try a laulau, which is pork and fish wrapped in ti leaves. One must-try dish in Kapaa is poke (pronounced po-kay). It is a dish of cubed raw fish, often ahi tuna or octopus, with seasonings. It is most often served as an appetizer, but you can also find it served with rice as a meal.
