Waterloo Restaurants

Managed to book a table last minute on a Saturday when the restaurant was in full swing. Busy and bustling but not so noisy that we couldn't converse, and service was friendly and attentive. Ordered the cote du boeuf to share and a bottle of Malbec Reserve. Although the chips and peppercorn sauce were a little cold, the flavour made up for it. Enjoyed the sauteed mushroom side. A filling meal and felt like good value for steak in central London on a Saturday night.

Another terrific evening on our way to the 7.30 RFH concert. Four of us. All delighted with food and service. We allowed almost two hours. (5.30- 7.15 left the table) Thanks.

Lovely! This long-established restaurant always meets hopes and expectations. Friendly efficient staff, steaks cooked as requested, lovely ambience --- and boyfriend took me there first in the middle 1970s I think (or early 80s? Thinks it was 70s).The standard has been maintained through every visit AND we have lovely music if we pick our timing right too

The most quaint, traditional and japanese of all the japanese okonomiyake restaurants in London. All Japanese staff, excellent food and service. A go to

MdF is an oasis of delight; the food is always delicious, the wines great value and the ambiance is perfect for a great night out with a close friend. The service was exceptional with David, a charming, smiling and efficient chap who made absolutely sure we were going to be looked after. Thank you to him and the whole team. It was a joy from start to finish. See you again very soon!
