Discover Brookline

Visitors and longtime residents of the Brookline neighborhood in Boston will find numerous restaurants that take their ingredients from the cold waters of Cape Cod and the Atlantic Ocean. New England clam chowder, steamed lobster, fried shellfish, and fish-and-chips made with local cod are prevalent on many menus. Raw oyster bars are among the more popular hangouts, and upscale establishments take contemporary New England staples and add a modern twist. The Brookline area is not without its historic ambiance, and the elegant decor and atmosphere of eateries provide a sophisticated feel while you experience the locale's innovative cuisine. Dining in Brookline does not have to be limited to seafood and chowder as there are many Italian restaurants, Japanese noodle houses, South American grills and Mexican eating establishments.
