A sensational evening. The host, Amy our server, the food, the ambience, the whole experience is off the charts impressive. If you haven't been here let me tell you in no uncertain terms get you derrière here sooner than later & enjoy this French Bistro. Tonight I wanted a1/2 dozen oysters with a wine mignonette unfortunately they were all sold out. Do I order french onion soup or do I just jump in & go with The steak frites? or should I have the day boat scallops? I'll tell you I'm having a very hard time deciding on what entree I will have. What do i do??? Ok I've decided I'll have the French onion soup & steak frites. I'm stuffed I have to take home 1/2 my dinner. Not a bad thing to enjoy some steak tomorrow morning. No room for dessert but the deserts sounded wonderful. Oops all my pictures somehow disappeared. I can tell you they were great pictures of all our food & the menus.

Party of two we each got the 4-course meal option with a seafood focus + a bottle of Cakebread chardonnay + bottle of still water + 20% tip = $442. The food was phenomenal and properly portioned so you can finish all 4 courses and a couple glasses of wine. Skip lunch just to make sure. The Halibut main dish was cooked to perfection. The ambience is perfectly dimly lit, modern rustic, with a low background level of trip hop/ lounge libations. Memorable for sure...

This was a celebratory birthday lunch for two. We were promptly seated in our requested preferred location. The window-side views are unparalleled just about anywhere. Both the host and server greeted my wife by name and wished her a happy birthday. Service from Kate was professional and most friendly. Food was quite tasty. If I had to dig for a criticism, my wife's lobster and corn chowder was served at the same time as her lobster role. We did not think we needed to specify chowder first. I think the kitchen should have known better. This is not an everyday dining room, and if you're looking for a value meal, the value is in the extraordinary atmosphere and bold ocean view. This is truly a special occasion venue. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

Discover Ogunquit

With a name that means "beautiful place by the sea," Ogunquit is home to a number of fishing fleets that supply the local restaurants. Whether you live here or are just in town for summer vacation, you can enjoy a giant Maine lobster, steamed clams, raw oysters, or some classic New England clam chowder. Seafood is far from your only option. You can also stop by one of the town's artsy cafés and enjoy your food while listening to some live music. For an international flavor, you can opt for small plates at a tapas bar or authentic Italian restaurant. As a beach town, Ogunquit also offers a handful of independent ice cream shops where you can head for a cool treat after a day in the sun.
