Food was very good and so was the service. The only comment I have is when I made the reservation, I was prompted to reply if it was a special occasion and if so, what it was? I replied that it was our wedding anniversary (40th), but there was no acknowledgement of our special occasion when we arrived. It would have been nice if there was some sort of acknowledgement as we choose the Barn to on this milestone or don't ask.

Fantastic service, fantastic food + drinks, fantastic prices. 11/10 recommend.

Impeccable! Truly impeccable from entering this lovely structure to exit. The food, architecture, the menu (food and beverage), and staff from greeting to bar to table were perfection. Dawn was the absolute professional Server who made this visit memorable. She was efficient and absolutely on point great awareness. Never missed a step, nuance or cue. A salute to Dawn. Chase, the Manager of the Alcove came to our table and provided the history of The Alcove, various Mt. Vernon community offerings, and basic background info. Dawn and Chase are/were the best Ambassadors for Mt. Vernon! Our party of four (4) had a lovely meal, kudos to the chef for chilled plate for salad and fresh ingredients for side salad, it was a magical evening. Thank you we all suggest you visit The Alcove and all that Mt. Vernon offers.

Very busy, but never in a rush if we know the food is going to be delicious. Service was wonderful and food fantastic. Next time I need to get a tasty adult beverage as well with my dinner.
