Our waiter, Joe, was exceptional as were the rest of the staff. Well worth it and a perfect spot to eat prior to our red-eye flight back to North America!More infoHaliimaile General StorePrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Makawao•4.8
- AAngieHawaii •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 10, 2024My husband and I went to Nylos to celebrate our anniversary last weekend. We both thoroughly loved it. The food was impeccable. The menu was creative . The ingredients were fresh and mostly local. The service was excellent. The price may seem high, but it is fine dining and it is an excellent value for the quality of food. I’m looking forward to celebrating other special occasions there in the future.More infonyloSPrice: Very Expensive• French American• Paia•5

Discover Haiku
Iconic for its gorgeous beaches and endless sun, Haiku, Maui, is also a desirable place to enjoy excellent cuisine. On an island where barbecue is a must, try pork ribs or Hawaiian beef jerky, a dish also called pipikaula. Don't leave the island without tasting the barbecue chicken, made with a sauce called huli huli. Fish is also a must. Enjoy everything from ahi tuna, prepared blackened, steamed, or raw, to ruby snapper. After dinner, don't forget the manju, a cookie with a sweet center for dessert. Or, go tropical all the way with breadfruit. If you're not in the mood for traditional island fare, you'll also find plenty of barbecue, Mexican, and American comfort foods here.
