- TTiffanyvipDallas - Fort Worth •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis place ALWAYS exceeds my expectations in food, ambiance, and service! Once I met the manager, Jennifer, I understood why. From the personal welcome, to her attention to detail, she makes you feel like you've walked into an establishment that appreciates it's patrons . I'm new to California and the area so it meant so much to receive such a pleasant experience. She is the reason that I now visit this location at least twice a week. Any meeting or visitor coming into town, this is where I take them first!! I can ALWAYS count on Jennifer and her team to provide excellent service. BIG THANKS to Jennifer for your genuine, accommodating spirit and for passing that down to your staff. I was there last night and will be back later this week! If you haven't experienced this place, RUN, don't walk. You won't regret it! TEN STARS!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟More infoJOEY Manhattan BeachPrice: Expensive• American• Manhattan Beach•4.5

- WWaynevipSan Francisco Bay Area •678 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 4, 2024Can’t ask for a better deal and healthy option than Shinsengumi Shabu!!! I mean most ingredients for the hot pot are fresh, high quality……not processed!! And the price for AYCE is too good , even better for seniors like me!!! I sit at the counter and always order the Tonkotsu broth with both pork meats and an ice cold jumbo mug of Sapporo……man, life is good!! But whatever you order, you always walk out with a truly satisfying feeling. And icing on the cake is outstanding, friendly service by Riley, Kenda and Yonosuke!!! Of all the Shinsengumi restaurants through out the Southland, this joint is my absolute favorite and I highly recommend for family, friends and even hot dates!!More infoShin-Sen-Gumi Shabu-ShabuPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Hawthorne / Gardena•4.9

Discover Gardena
Where the culture is rich, it can be said that the flavor usually follows. This is the case for Gardena, Los Angeles, a neighborhood that began as a small farming community tended to by Japanese immigrants . Now, Gardena is known for its strip mall dives, ginormous markets, and authentic culinary ventures rooted in the Japanese culture. Succulent sushi is just around the corner, prepped with fresh fish and perfectly cooked rice with a bowl of miso on the side. Foodies will hint that Gardena is somewhat of an "underground" scene in the culinary world, but their noodle shops (ramen, udon, or soba-- your pick) are the best in town. Depending on your mood, you can finish off your authentic meal with a sweet boba tea, or a glass of sake.
