- JJeanneMiami - Dade •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe are were in town for king of the bluegrass basketball tournament in Fairdale. The appetizer we had the tuna poke (10/10) We got a bottle of Treana Cab wine to have with our main course… My husband had the medallion filets and I had the 7 oz filet (med rare) We got cheesy potatoes and asparagus for sides to share. The portion sides are generous! Wow!!!!!! Everything was phenomenal .. and don’t even get me started on the bread with the beef mallow and garlic butter candle ….. Unreal! The service was top notch! We had reservations, and were greeted with smiles and quickly seated. Our table was cleaned and ready for each step of our experience. The atmosphere was warm, eclectic and welcoming. There was someone with his sax playing soft jazz Christmas music as well. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We will definitely be coming back (even though it’s a 2.5 hour drive) I MUST try the Lobster Bisque next time! We love good food and exceptional service ! They had decorated the table with birthday related confetti and had placed a birthday card on the table. My friend was treated to a free drink and delicious dessert. The service is impeccable. Sabrina was our server and I will ask for her every time I go. The food was five stars. I had salmon which was cooked perfectly and spiced well with a delicious honey glaze served with almonds and green beans. I ordered the asparagus which was yummy and had several bites of mashed potatoes which were divine - maybe the best I’ve ever had. My husband had lamb chops. They give you eight of these and he enjoyed every morsel. To start, he ordered onion soup which I tasted. It was absolutely delicious but the serving is huge, really too much to eat before a main course. I highly recommend going to the Capital Grille. It’s pricey, but it’s worth it.More infoThe Capital Grille - LouisvillePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Westport Rd - Lyndon•4.8

It was very busy when we were there so the service was a little slow, but attentive and knowledgeable all the same. This is clearly a top five restaurant in Louisville More info211 Clover Lane RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• St Matthews•4.8

Was offered cocktail and wine list and had drinks within 5 minutes. 1st time for my friend so she was greeted with toast of Chianti and Italian toast. Salad and main course were exceptional. One of my favorite restaurants.More infoGrassa GrammaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Westport Rd - Lyndon•4.6
