- JJamesUtah •10 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 1, 2024This restaurant is a welcome alternative to the lobster and pizza that proliferate in Bar Harbor. Our appetizers and entrees were excellent and desert was a delight. Really appreciate that they have stayed open into the fall.More infoBrasserie LeBrunPrice: Expensive• French• Bar Harbor•4.7

- JJonMaine •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 10, 2024The Reading Room is classic white linen high class dining at its best!! Menu, food, service & ambience all first rate! Our server was very professional (can’t recall her name) & very menu knowledgeable - only issue was that the noise level made it difficult to have a good conversation! We’ve been there many times over the years & it is always the highlight of our visits to Bar Harbor!!More infoReading Room Restaurant at The Bar Harbor InnPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Bar Harbor•4.6

- DDeniseMaine •1 review5.0Dined on Oct 24, 2024It took a month to get in and it was worth it. I had frequented the pond house when I was young (35 yrs ago) and I had been wanting to get back. It was as good as I remember. Staff got us in earlier than our reservation time, waitstaff were friendly and welcoming and the popovers and jam are the best I’ve had! Definitely worth the visit/experience.More infoJordan Pond HousePrice: Expensive• American• Bar Harbor•4.1
Discover Steuben
On the northern coast of Maine, not far from the popular Bar Harbor, Steuben is home to a dining scene with a strong emphasis on fresh seafood. You can enjoy all of the Maine lobster, scallops, and shrimp that you could ever desire. And wash it all down with a bowl of clam or fish chowder. If you're in the mood for something unique, stop into one of the local New American or French-inspired spots using local ingredients in creative ways. For classic American fare in a relaxed environment, head to a pub for chicken wings and a craft beer. If you need an afternoon pick-me-up, head to one of the local cafés for coffee and a slice of blueberry pie, the official state dessert.
