Livonia Restaurants

Our recent dinner at Lucia’s on the Lake was excellent. We were seated right at our reservation time. The restaurant was tastefully decorated for Christmas. The menu was extensive with many great choices. The food and drinks were terrific. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall it was a memorable experience. Two thumbs up.

First time there, waiter was great, quick service and appetizer came out fast and hot. Meals were delicious and cooked right. We had a few drinks, they were good, they tasted a little different, maybe done by two different bartenders but good. I would try Rick’s again.

First time dining at this restaurant. Arrived early and was seated immediately on a very busy evening. Hostess was beyond friendly and pleasant. Difficult to see the menu based on lighting. Was brought an adjustable table lamp. That was an amazing first anywhere. Our server, Victoria, had a top notch command of the entire menu easily answering questions and making relevant recommendations. Amazingly professional and friendly young woman. Food was outstanding from cocktails, to apps, to entrees, to desserts. Everything perfectly prepared and brought to the table at the proper temperature. Lovely presentations. Service was impeccable throughout. Menu is pricey, but you absolutely get what you pay for. I will definitely recommend to others and return again.

We selected Russell's to celebrate the missus' birthday. Great dining experience! The proprietor, Russell, welcomed us at check-in. Our reservation was for 5PM and this enabled a bit of quiet. We were greeted by our server, Chris, who explained the specials. We were not rushed in making our selections, nor were we ignored. Our service was prompt with a fair interval between courses. We also had a separate staff person to bus our table and keep our water glasses refilled. The staff was not pretentious or snooty, always courteous. My wife made a point of speaking personally to Russell to thank him for a memorable evening. We'll return soon!

Morgan took good care of us. I had the decadent seafood lasagna special and my husband had the strip steak. Very satisfied!
