- GGailNorthern Michigan / Upper Peninsula •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis not a review for the restaurant but for the heated pool and cabana.I brought my son's family including 3 older grandkids. This is our second time here. We plan on making this an annual Christmas tradition. We had the best time! The pool water was 95° and felt so good! The cabana was nice and toasty warm with hot chocolate for my grandkids and all the fixings. We ordered some food. The chicken tenders were really good and the flatbread pizzas. It was amazing because we got to have a glass of wine while in the pool! It was such a nice evening and very relaxing and we will be back next Christmas!More infoArtisan - Traverse CityPrice: Expensive• American• Traverse City•4.7

- TTrevorDetroit / Eastern Michigan •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024We went specifically for the Thanksgiving buffet and it was excellent. There was a wide variety of food from breakfast through a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. There was an excellent carving station with roasted turkey and baked Dearborn ham. The sides included excellent stuffing and real mashed potatoes. The salad bar was outstanding in its variety and all of the selections were very good. As usual, the desserts were sumptuous, especially the Apple Streusel although it would have been nice to have some vanilla sauce to top it off. Overall the food was about as hot (warm) as you would expect from a buffet. The service was a little slow initially but after the introduction, it was excellent. We are both very Thankful to the staff who worked during their Thanksgiving day to provide such friendly service.More infoAerie Restaurant & LoungePrice: Very Expensive• American• Acme•4.3
Discover Maple City
Northern Michigan and its Upper Peninsula have long established themselves as prime destinations for foodie connoisseurs of all stripes, and that trend seems to be only growing. You can get good ol' American back-woods cookin' at several well-loved restaurants in this little town of only 1,500. But the unexpected cuisine diversity you find here includes an authentic French cafe, an Italian trattoria, and a true pub that seems to have been imported unchanged from the British Isles. The latter gives you everything from fish and chips to Yorkshire pudding. There are also full-blooded American bars and grills and a vegetarian-friendly deli thrown into the mix.
