Foretti’s CDM established itself as a highlight of the Newport Beach dining scene when it opened in 2013. Operating under the new ownership of longtime Restaurateur and Level 1 Sommelier Thaddeus Foret, we continue to prepare our signature recipes, created by the restaurant’s namesake chef and his culinary team—many of whom remain in our kitchen today.
Foretti’s is a celebration of Italian traditions, specializing in authentic Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana-certified wood-fired pizzas baked in a 900 degree oven with the same techniques and ingredients used in Naples, Italy.
We also feature house made pastas and favorite dishes from across Italy, expertly paired with craft cocktails and a curated selection of Italian and California Wines; several from Orange County wine owners.
Thad Foret brings more than 30 years of experience in hospitality to Corona del Mar, and has been a standard bearer for restaurant operations in the region.

Executive Chef Jessica Roy brings her fresh interpretation and style to Garden and Farm-to-Table cuisine right inside the botanical oasis that is Sherman Library and Gardens. Daily pickings from the Gardens and local farms populate the ever changing seasonal menu that highlights the best and most flavorful ingredients of the season. Look for ingredients at their peak, stunning edible blooms and herbs right from the Sherman grounds, and cuisine that is nothing short of inspired and delicious. .
Please note: we are located within the Sherman Library and Gardens, to which there is a $5.00 per person admission fee. Each admission supports the Sherman Gardens (a non-profit organization), who maintain the sweeping panoramic views that our diners get to enjoy! We are excited for your visit, and welcome you to experience our beautiful outdoor dining room in Newport Beach. That being said we are outdoors and encourage all guest to dress appropriate to the season. We have added a beautiful heated covered awning for the winter months. We offer blankets for sale that can be kept, or left behind and donated to a local charity we support. We will still be requesting a two hour dinning limit per visit.

Three generations of the Frank family found new inspiration in England’s growing gastropub movement.
In 2009, they refurbished, restyled and re-opened the traditional British pub at Five Crowns as Corona del Mar’s first and only English-style gastropub, SideDoor.
SideDoor is a separate operation within Five Crowns. Enter on Poppy Street under the big red key and find a comfortable and convivial atmosphere. Cozy up to one of the charming fireplaces. The focus at SideDoor is on seasonal small plates portioned for sharing, cheese and charcuterie prepared by a chef on duty at the new charcuterie station and a selection of world-class spirits.     So friendly and helpful waitresses and great food. They accommodated my small dog’s presence and made me very comfortable having her with me despite other restaurants in California these day!!! I really appreciated that and enjoyed my food, beautiful patio ambiance and nice atmosphere with my friends. We had a 2 years old child with us too, gave him a paper snd crayon to draw/get busy, brought his pizza quick and everything was great. Amazing wine options to drink and buy! We bought 2 bottles of an amazing 2020 red wine from their collection at the end. I will be definitely back with MY DOG and friends! The steak was delicious and great quality. Thank you CUCINA enoteca :)

    We chose to celebrate the last day of seven weeks of radiation for my husband at Fleming steakhouse little did we know what an exceptional experience we would have. Our server was absolutely outstanding and took excellent care of us. We chose to sit in the bar which we enjoyed. We ordered the tomahawk steak our first time having one, and I must say it was absolutely outstanding. When the manager learned that we were celebrating my husband’s last day of radiation, he very kindly came to our table and visited, and then let us know that his dinner would be complementary. Everything could not have been more perfect. We felt like we were visiting in a friends home. We have always loved Flemings, but last night was exceptional. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
