- STSharonTRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •10 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoWe love Tupelo Honey. I brought my 9 yr old grandson with me for dinner and he absolutely loved his classic chicken and waffles. His eyes rolled to the back of his head when he took his first bite. I had the lightly dusted fried chicken breast and a side Caesar salad. The fried chicken was good but not stellar. The meat was dry, but still tasty. In my experience fried chicken is always juicy so - 4 stars for the chicken. 4 stars for service because our server never asked if we wanted another drink and my glass was empty for awhile. It was a good evening and my grandson really enjoyed himself.More infoTupelo Honey - Downtown AshevillePrice: Moderate• Contemporary Southern• Asheville•4.6

- OTOpenTable DinerAsheville / Western North Carolina •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMy daughter and I come to Asheville a couple of times each year. Each time we try a different restaurant. The Marketplace is absolutely TOPS!!! Everyone there is warm and welcoming. The service staff (Dakota) is engaging and knowledgeable. The food, obviously the most important, is DELICIOUS!!! Next trip to Asheville just might be a deviation from choosing a different restaurant...it was seriously that good! Thanks to everyone there for a wonderful dining experience!More infoThe Market Place RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Asheville•4.6

Discover Black Mountain
It's tucked away in western North Carolina yet conveniently located within a short distance of the sophisticated small city of Asheville and all that the western part of the state has to offer. It's also home to a range of great restaurant options, including taverns, cafes and bistros. Menu choices at these places include modern American dishes, homemade baked goods and gourmet burgers. Venturing away from Black Mountain, the choices are much more extensive, especially in Asheville, where there are steakhouses and comfort foods, as well as French, Italian, Mexican and American menu items. Don't be fooled by Asheville's smaller size, as its restaurant lineup rivals those of many cities that are much larger. Many of the smaller towns near Black Mountain also offer up some unique restaurant choices.
