- WWendieCoastal North Carolina •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMy children surprised me by a visit and birthday dinner at Seabird. They hadn't been there and it's a place I love. There were 5 of us in a comfy booth. At my seat was a delightful little origami seabird with a birthday note. How thoughtful. We all chose different menu items and were so pleased with everything. Chef Neff came to our table and explained ingredients in each item we ordered. He was so nice and congenial, as was our waiter. After dinner we chatted and finished our wine. Chef came to the table again to see how our meal went and presented me with a birthday ice cream treat and a couple more for the table. This is a first class restaurant with a friendly vibe. I love going out for a good dinner in a lovely but not fancy spot. Kudos to Chef, his staff, and the pretty restaurant just a short walk from my house.More infoSeabirdPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Wilmington•4.9
- OTOpenTable DinerCoastal North Carolina •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe service was superb. The food was beyond excellent. And the ambiance was great- some music, but it wasn’t loud. We saw families with children, retirees, and friend out having fun. We can’t wait to return to try new things!More infoTarantelli’sPrice: Moderate• Italian• Wilmington•4.7
- EEricWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoCigar & Cocktail Steak night. Once again, outstanding and the staff was excellent. Presentations by both the Cigar and Old Forester rep's were on target. The combination of fine cigars and crafted cocktails with this 5-Course dinner is well worth the price. Not quite sure how they make any money.More infoRuth's Chris Steak House - Wilmington, NCPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Wilmington•4.7

Discover Southport
Southport is a coastal city with renowned waterside beauty and early American history. It has been dubbed "America's Happiest Seaside Town." Being on the Atlantic Ocean, it's no surprise that New England seafood is in high demand here. You'll find some of the freshest steamed, grilled, fried and raw shellfish available. There are also loads of turf options. Steak and stuffed pork tenderloin are easy to get, and you might even find rabbit on some menus. Long wine lists are almost as common as lobster in Southport, and every restaurant seems to offer a sweeping view of the picturesque port that gave the city its name.
