Lenwade Restaurants

27 December is a busy time for all good pubs and restaurants. The Bucks Arms was no exception. Though obviously under considerable pressure, the staff worked quickly and efficiently to take orders and bring food. The menu is extensive and varied, with separate sections for meat, fish, vegetarian, a children's menu and small plates and starters. We never reached the desserts as our first two courses were very large and very filling. Excellent cooking. Helpfully, the menu was on the website. The location is, of course, sublime and the pub itself unassuming and slightly old-fashioned, a wonderful, traditional, place. if you're visiting Blickling and want a meal or a drink at the bar, don't miss the Bucks Arms.

This is a great “foodie” restaurant, the standard, presentation and quality of the food is very good. There were at least 2 vegetarian options, both of which were unusual and made a great change from what the average restaurant offers. Service was excellent despite it being a very busy lunchtime serving. The dining room was noisy due to being busy and next time we would opt to sit in the bar where the customers were quieter but overall everything was excellent

Another wonderful afternoon tea experience at The Assembly House. Great service, wonderful food and a great start to our Christmas celebrations. Thank you so much to all the staff who continue to deliver a wonderful experience in the most amazing building.

Busy staff at bar acknowledged and sorted us quickly, and were efficient and personable throughout. The food was tasty and well cooked. Nibbles generous. Starters, lovely and mains v.good Tender rare venison and a very good game pie, thin walled pastry and right amount of sauce within. Didn't have dessert as too full up. Good selection of beers. Abbott was very good. Will come again. With friends.

Christmas wouldn't be the same without a lunch at the Ivy! the food is exceptional especially the festive menu and the staff as always are exceptional and go over and above to make sure everything is perfect as it can be....obviously a big fan and always will be Thanks to everyone for making a special occasion that little extra special...
