Woodbury (Connecticut) Restaurants

Good service and good food - good news! Missed some of the old-world bohemian dishes that were on the old menu (schnitzel and red cabbage in particular), but enjoyed the experience… especially since we live only 5 mins away.

My wife, kids, and I love dining at Mercato. Keep up the good work!

Wonderful evening with our friends. The meal was excellent, as was the wait staff. Staff recommendations were helpful, meal options were diverse, so we were all very happy with our selections. Our friends had never been to the restaurant before, they loved the meal and look forward to returning. We have been several times and have always enjoyed the food and service and will be back again.

The food was very good. The venison Wellington was really good - the venison was cooked perfectly, though the phyllo was a bit soggy - could be because of the delicious sauce. The seasonal soup is well worth trying. Specials should be mentioned up front as that nights special was not on the menu that we received. Learned about it after we placed the order. Otherwise very good…though a bit pricey as others mentioned.

Two couples for dinner. Service was prompt, all our dinners were good to excellent and the atmosphere is always comfortable. It was fairly busy but there was a nice holiday vibe, pleasant lighting and music. Always reliable for a happy night out.
