- DDanielaLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoSuch a nice brunch! We were seated out by the fireplace and it was perfect. Food was great, service was great, ambiance - so festive! Highlight of the season.More infoThe Raymond RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Pasadena•4.5
- KKristinaVancouver / British Columbia •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe venue is beautiful and the tea is worth the price. There were four of us and we all ordered the traditional tea rather than the, more expensive, huntington tea option. Soup or salad is an additional cost, but the white bean and panchetta soup was delicious. There are alcohol and cocktail options as well. The aperol spritz were good if you like that drink. The tea selection was simple and every each tea we ordered was delicious. The tea pots were plain white and small but they will refill your tea pot with hot water a couple times. The scones, sandwiches, and sweets were mostly delicious and unique. Our one complaint is the ham and cheese sandwich was plain and dry. It didn't wow us like the lamb sandwich. We would prefer an egg sandwich or chicken salad sandwich instead. The James beard sandwich was an underwhelming mayo sandwich as well. The service was impeccable. Isaac was a great server. Isaac and other staff were thoughtful and preemptively met our needs. They provided a free slice of chocolate cake for a birthday as well. Overall, we had a great experience. I will definitely come back!More infoThe Huntington's Rose Garden Tea RoomPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• South Pasadena•4.7

- JJazminLas Vegas •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024Very nice restaurant. We got lucky and were placed right next to the live latin jazz band. We got the view of LA, the sound of the band and the waiters were friendly. Food was also delicious. A very great night spent, celebrating my birthday there. I would recommend for a special event/date night.More infoLuminarias Restaurant & Special EventsPrice: Moderate• American• Monterey Park•4.6

Discover Monterey Park
Whatever your favorite Asian cuisine, you're almost sure to find it in Monterey Park. Asian restaurants rule the Monterey Park dining scene, which includes Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, and Cantonese options. Of course, don't forget Thai, Korean, and Burmese; the list goes on and on with delicious diversity. With so many styles to pick from, it's hard to imagine growing tired of Asian cooking anytime soon. When you're ready for a change, though, try the area's authentic Mexican food. Whether you want a grab-and-go taco or a sit-down meal, you can find it in Monterey Park's lineup of Latin American restaurants. Another cuisine to try? Don't miss out on this L.A. suburb's Hawaiian cooking, especially tropical barbecue and bowls of poke (pronounced po-kay), a popular salad made with raw tuna and sweet sesame.
