- AAnitaNew Jersey •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe enjoyed our dinner beyond all measure. The cheese curds were delicious and I asked for garlic aioli dipping sauce to have with them. It was the perfect accompaniment. My husband had Spanish Chicken & Rice. He loved his dish and I had chicken and waffles with a honey aioli. Both dishes were next level great with the chicken being tender and juicy and flavorful and we followed those amazing meals with a delicious lace de leche bread pudding with vanilla ice cream so great, I ordered one additional to go! Kudos to the chef! We used to visit a lot prior to COVID and this honestly made us so happy to see this establishment survive and not just survive…improve which is hard when they already were top tier! The wait staff was just the right amount of attentive too!More infoUnion and FinchPrice: Moderate• American• Allentown•4.8

- TTiffanyPhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoAbsolutely delicious meal for our entire party of 5. We attended for my husbands birthday and every aspect of the experience was pleasant from the moment we arrived. Our server was timely and thoughtful, everyone said that the meal they ordered was the best version they’ve ever had (burger, chicken sandwich, wedge salad, crab cakes, steak). We love this restaurant and can’t wait to go back !More infoSpinnerstown HotelPrice: Expensive• American• Quakertown•4.9

12 of Philadelphia’s outstanding spots for celebrating special occasions
Maybe you got engaged on the steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art or just picked up the keys to your first rowhouse. It could be that your kid is (finally) toilet trained, or that your noisy neighbor moved away. Sometimes, simply surviving another Tuesday can be an occasion to celebrate over a restaurant meal. It doesn’t have to be fancy. What makes an occasion special isn’t an arbitrary date on the calendar—it’s the decision to celebrate. Luckily, Philadelphia bursts with places where the food and atmosphere lend themselves to living it up. Grab dinner and a jazz show at a swinging North Broad Street faithful. Opt for a quieter night at a critically acclaimed, plant-based gem in Midtown Village. Or splurge on a swanky steakhouse that presides over a corner of Rittenhouse Park. Whether you’re after an intimate spot for an anniversary date or a convivial atmosphere for a boisterous reunion, Philadelphia has you covered with these 12 celebration-worthy restaurants.
