Rancho Bernardo Restaurants

We have always loved all of the restaurants in Rancho Bernardo Inn. Avant is my favorite. It is dark, modern/traditional and elegant. They feature an extensive seasonal menu with selections for everyone, including those with dietary restrictions. The quality is top-notch and the service matches the overall high-end experience. Their seafood is the freshest and their meats and produce are the best available. They utilize their own garden, which I appreciate. The cocktails are unique and their wine list as well curated A few times a year they have wine pairing dinners that we recommend. We are never disappointed and there are pleasant surprises each visit.

We had a long stressful day. We evacuated our house because of a fire we checked into a hotel in Rancho Bernardo. I told my husband I want to go eat something really good or they have nice ambience. I googled and found carvers. Not disappointed at all it made my whole day the waitress was super sweet and the food was amazing. The ambience stole the show! We plan on coming back and bringing our friends.

The service was great, the food is good, but in my opinion if the could add a few new items in their breakfast menu it would be fantastic.

Our waitress was wonderful. The restaurant was full and she never stopped moving and was always gracious. The golden beet salad is delicious. The deep dish pizzas make you eat one slice too many because it’s so good! Nice beer, wine and cocktail selection.

The Rancho Bernardo Inn has extensive, beautiful grounds. The Christmas brunch was a gorgeous spread with many delicious offerings. The open bar flowed freely. Brunch for 6 people cost $1047.
