Nico is my go to when in Boston. Being only a single, I sat at the bar and had great food, conversation and wine. Will visit again.

We went to this restaurant as part of Dine-In Boston. The food was average, the portions small, the potatoes undercooked, and the size of the cannoli was a joke. Overall, the Dine-in Boston deal was a ripoff and we would have been better off ordering from the regular menu. However, what was most disturbing was that the bread server did not use the thongs to put the bread in the baskets. This is really concerning since we are in flu and COVID season. I would expect a high-end restaurant to have sanitary practices that meet or exceed a local fast-food joint, but this was not the case.

It was our first time and it was delicious. We sat at bar with Tracy and Jackie, they were both very friendly. Tracy gave us recommendations which were fantastic. We enjoyed the dinner and drinks. Definitely will return.

Hostess, waitress…very attentive, friendly, and professional. Presentation of food was beautiful. I ordered the $59 filet and requested medium well. It arrived medium well on the edges and RARE on the inside. I typically do not send food back for a re-fire unless I absolutely cannot eat it. This was a time when I had to send back. Staff was noticed rolling their eyes and shrugging their shoulders at my request, in which I felt extremely embarrassed (since I normally do not send things back). No one came to apologize or ask to see if everything else was good. It is such a small, intimate place, I felt it warranted a conversation. That steak is the ONLY REASON I did not have a great experience; however, I will not return nor recommend based on the lack of care afterward. The steak still did not come back out medium well ( warm pink center), but I could eat around it at least. Waste of a great experience and high quality steak…cooked to order ( MY preference of med-well)

Food was outstanding - loved the shrimp appetizer, the lobster pasta and the pasta Nico. Fun casual atmosphere in there but could do with a little less of that club-like music, it’s very loud for dinner.
