   Please don’t deliver the entree until your customer has finished their appetizer. Very aggravating!

   We asked them to turn down the music and it was turned up. We were sitting outside, and it was unbearable. They did turn it down. We ordered. Ordered salad without dressing and came loaded with dressing. One on the party didn't like their order of tuna poke so she ordered a chicken breast for some protein. Came with a gross hair and a tiny bug. Husband ordered a coke which came in a glass of ice. He had 3 and was charged 15 dollars for that!! Still groomed out about the hair we got at no charge. Won't be coming back. I will say the waiter was good and attentive.

   Foodwise - one of the best in Wellington, always excellent! last night's service was meh. took too long to take order, even just a drink order.

   Oli’s has declined. Once a reliable spot for good food and drink it is now lacking in all areas. Service is poor, mostly handled by bus staff, and pathetically slow. Food is low quality and ill prepared. They have spread tables further down the sidewalk increasing capacity when unable to serve existing footprint. Happy to say goodbye to Oli’s until next year.

   Five friends got seated immediately at 6:30. Twenty minutes later we still had no service. At 7:00 Christian came over to see if we wanted water. We requested drinks and menus. Took 20 minutes to get drinks and we requested menus again. His reply was”Oh you didn’t get them yet”. He then gave us menus. Waited 15 minutes and he finally came back and took our orders. Requested manager. Finally got dinner at 8:00. Got bill at 8:30. Christian never asked if everything was ok or if we needed anything else. 20% gratuity already on bill. As we were walking out I approached the manager at front podium and asked if he was aware that we had asked to speak to him. His answer was “I came to your table and gave you extra silverware “ He never introduced himself or asked why we requested to speak with him. He then turned away and walked away from us. Food is ok but service is the worst. Will never come back and should have refused to pay gratuity but did not. The owners need to come in and straighten out their staff

   This was our first trip to Olis in 3 seasons. We were underwhelmed. Nothing was bad, everything was decent, but nothing either that said it would be high on our list. Wellington really doesn’t have any really good restaurants, and this place was square in the B range. Service was quite good, and the wine list was very good.

   Our waiters shirt was a mess. He also poured my wife’s almost empty glass of orange juice into her new glass in front of us!

    We had a lovely dinner tonight at Oli’s. We both loved our grilled snapper over chorizo risotto special. It was prepared perfectly and included two large blackened shrimp. Would definitely order this again.
