   We had an 8:45 reservation and were there for over 2 hours with only the appetizer being served to us. The tables on either side of us arrived after us and had appetizers and entrees before us. It's a pre-fixe menu so it's not like they were ordering something easier and faster to make than our entrees. Our waitress did not come back after taking our order, and the bread service kept coming around to constantly replenish the bread, maybe 4 or 5 times. We were pretty hungry so we kept eating that. Very unfortunate evening with the lack of service and hospitality, we have been coming for years around the holidays and never had this experience, it's a shame the restaurant is going downhill.

   Wonderful experience. Our service by Nick was amazing. Food was lovely. Sensational Xmas vibe. Just a tad expensive. Loved it though.

   Always a great holiday dinner here! Excellent tasting menu. Cocktails are good. Service is even better. Atmosphere is sophisticated without being stuffy. Will come back time and time again.

   Born and raised in nyc and I can definitely confirm that this restaurant without a doubt is the most authentically romantic place to have a date night in the city. The food was exquisite! Made you want to keep eating even though you’re full. I proposed to my girlfriend here and it was everything I imagined and then some. Through the proposal planning process of how to do it, the staff was almost more excited about it than I was. This restaurant is the personification of a 10 out of 10.

   We’re native NYers and haven’t visited this dear old friend in too long. Brilliant service, breathtaking romantic lush atmosphere (a young man went down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend when we were there) and that makes the check worth it. It’s des Artistes crossed w the Russian Tea Room 30 years ago. Go here, the food isn’t special and it’s expensive but if you can do it, DEFINITELY do it.

   The service shined. The entire staff was friendly and amazing. The food was delicious. We had the Beef Wellington for our main course and it was perfect. The only small complaint I had over with the food is that the focaccia had no flavor except the sea salt on top. Everything else we had was delicious!

    I have been going to this beautiful restaurant for 20+years. Last night was late reservation at 8:45pm. Everything rushed, seven course meal not available and overall disappointing. They should not take 8:45 reservation if the kitchen is about to close. My first less than stellar experience ai OIBLTIBS and I will go back hoping it's better. Recommend not to make any reservations that are less than 2 hours from closing time.
