    I hadn’t been to Orso in years, as I don’t live in NY anymore and when I do visit, there are so many options! But I needed someplace wonderful before the theater, and decided to revisit this restaurant. It was an excellent choice. The food was beautifully executed (and I’m a private chef, so I’m pretty picky, lol), and the service was exemplary — warm, friendly, professional. The room is welcoming and attractive, and the noise level, even with a totally full house, was refreshingly quiet. If you need a great place for pre-theatre (or apres-theatre) dinner, you can’t do better than Orso. My highest recommendation. (Oh, and ask for Tracy as your server — she was the best!)

    Had a lovely post-theater dinner. The kitchen was very accommodating in letting us create our own pizzas with available ingredients. Staff, as always, were very welcoming.

    Lovely experience. The food was great. We loved the branzino, the roasted cauliflower and the pasta in a meat sauce

    Great little gem in the theater district. Pretty restaurant with limited but fantastic menu. Professional and friendly waitstaff, quick pre theater service - absolutely delicious.

    We came for a late nite "happy hour" after seeing a play. The food and wine was excellent and service was friendly and professional. This is our favorite after theater spot. As usual, there were several celebrities. The clientele are sophisticated and give celebrities total privacy.
