We were told that Open Table made a mistake in granting us a reservation. We waited for over 40min to be seated AFTER being told the only way we could be served is if we go to the bar. Had to talk to a manager to even be seated. Only stayed because of the $40 hold on Open Table for the reservation.

As usual, everything was exceptional. I must give a shout out to our server, Paris. She was absolutely wonderful! She was attentive and so friendly. A plus on her service. Also, to the kitchen staff who cooked the Parmesan crusted grouper…chef’s kiss! The red beans and rice were fire as usual. We will see y’all soon!!! ❤️

Went here for a birthday dinner and had an AMAZING experience. Our server, Matt, was fantastic. The cocktails were delicious. All of the food was wonderful, but particularly the carpaccio, oysters, and parmesan crusted grouper. Will definitely be coming back and won’t be waiting for a special occasion.

Staff was polite. I am curious to know why the owner would continue to serve and seat people for a buffet that would not be at full capacity. They were only going to refill the buffet with 5 items and still charge $60/person. Not only that, but your kitchen staff needs to learn proper hygiene practices. There should be no one from the kitchen coming out and pulling up their pants with gloves on and pants STILL HANGING OFF OF THEM and then touching the utensils to cut food. Disgusting. DO BETTER!

Hi Ashley, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m deeply sorry to hear about what you witnessed during your visit on such an important Mother's Day. The hygiene concerns you described are completely unacceptable and do not reflect our standards for food safety or professionalism. We are taking your feedback very seriously and are already working through improvements with the team. Regarding the buffet and capacity issues—Mother’s Day is one of our busiest services, but that’s no excuse for falling short on quality and guest expectations. Our preparation for holiday's is also being revamped so we can deliver the food and service experience at the high levels our customers have come to expect. Please let us know if you plan to visit us again. We'd love another shot.

The overall experience was terrible at Owen Brennan’s. Their customer service representative called me to inform me that in order to maintain my 3 PM reservation I needed to put a credit card on file and I would be charged a $48 fee for every individual that did not show. This is not an unusual request, however, it is usually reserved for restaurants that have immaculate service and on this day, it was not the case. On this same call Owen Brennan’s customer representative also informed me that on Sundays brunch was served from 9 AM until 1 p.m, however this did not concern me because my reservation was for 3 PM. For a restaurant that should be considered four or five stars it was a tremendous disappointment. The Resturant was a complete failure in food and service. We arrivied to the restaurant on time meeting our 3 PM reservation and after being seated we were greeted by our waitress but did not see her again until I had a complaint to the manager. We were forced to participate in the brunch buffet, which should have ended at 1 PM. The brunch buffet could not compensate for the amount of people that were trying to be served. People were reaching over the food allowing their clothing and hair to hang over trays of uncovered food which made it very unsanitary. They begin to run out of food on the buffet and communicated to the guest that they were not bringing out any more food yet we were never giving an opportunity to order from the menu. This statement was contradicted by the manager, informing the guest that they were trying to prepare more food for the buffet however, we need to be patient and wait, which demonstrated a lack of concern for your patron and an atmosphere of disorder. They served us cokes that were flat and drinks from the bar in unwashed glasses. The outcome of this disaster was an embarrassing frustrating fiasco and presented a flawed image of me as a husband because I am ultimately responsible for planning my wife’s Mother’s Day dinner. Kud

Thank you for you taking the time to give us feedback, James. I’m truly sorry that your Mother’s Day experience. We missed the mark. For such an important occasion, we should have been better prepared. The credit card policy for reservations is standard policy, but we understand it sets a high expectation—and we clearly didn’t meet it. The issues you mentioned—lack of service, confusion about the buffet, unsanitary conditions, flat drinks, and inconsistent communication—are unacceptable even in the busiest of times. We’re already working on your feedback with the team and hope you can give us another visit.

Enjoyed celebrating Mother’s Day brunch at the restaurant. Food was decent and maybe contribute that to the quick turnaround for the large crowd. Lawson introducing himself and taking a genuine approach to come to our table definitely is a treat which most restaurants lack these days.

Hi TK, thank you for celebrating Mother’s Day with us and for your kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed the service and that our team’s personal touch made a positive impression—it's something we take pride in, even on our busiest days. We appreciate your feedback on the food as well. High-volume days can present challenges, but that shouldn’t compromise the quality we aim to deliver. If you have any more specific feedback we'd love to hear your thoughts. I'll send open a private message thread. Thanks again for your visit and for taking the time to share your experience and love to have you back anytime. ~ Lawson Bae
