Really wonderful place! Crowded and noisy because it is a small space in which to dine. But the food was very good, service was great and the whole place had a lot of ambience and lively energy. Highly recommend it!

I had another wonderful experience and a healthy pre-Marathon meal at Panza on the eve of the 129th Boston Marathon! It successfully fueled me for my 46th consecutive Boston Marathon!!! I am already looking forward to next year!!! Coach Mark B. President, Boston's QCC: Quarter Century Club

When we go to the North End, we only go to Panza. No questions asked. It’s the best all around!

Unfortunately, our dining experience at Panza was not very good. We had a reservation at 8 PM and were not seated until after nine. There was no hostess or anyone to greet us so we, like many other folks were just left outside in the drizzle to wait for someone to come call our name. Although she may have been having a tough night the waitress was unfriendly and pretty unattentive. Overall it was disappointing and needless to say we will not be dining at Panza again. All I can say is that an acknowledgement that we were there waiting on our reservation and some kind of apology would have gone a really long way. Two stars.

Best chicken piccata I’ve had in the North End thus far — definitely recommend it unless you don’t like artichokes. My bf got the chicken parm which was also excellent. Great portion sizes too!!
