   Pappas Steakhouse is our favorite. We usually go just on Valentine’s Day, but decided to go on a date night to celebrate the end of my teaching school year. We were greeted by a host who even remembered us from Valentine’s Day. The piano player in the bar was phenomenal. We decided to ask for a table in the bar so we could continue to listen to music. The service was amazing and our server Summer took great care of us. As always, the food was divine . We split the beef steak salad and it was so much and so delicious. We got fillets, bacon wrapped scallops, and the crab mac & cheese. We love their margarita and get one every time . Top that off with a few glasses of wine and it was a perfect evening.

   We had a great time! The service was amazing, and our waiter was extremely professional and accommodating. Although they didn't have the wine I wanted, he offered me something very similar, and it turned out to be perfect. Now I have a new favorite wine! Oh, and the cheesecake—it’s not your regular cheesecake. It literally tasted like it came from the clouds!

   I have visited Pappas Brothers Steakhouse often in the past to have great steaks and accompaniments. The crab cakes for a starter were great! However, I went for the steak, which turned out to be the worst steak I have ever had at any type of steakhouse. Center cut filets are supposed to be very tender, especially when prepared medium rare. This was as tough as shoe leather. The mushrooms and cream spinach were good. I went to Pappa's for the steak. Very disappointing this time...

   My medium plus steak was still moo-ing. I know, my fault for not sending the plate back to be cooked, but medium plus should not be a plate of blood. It was horrible.
