   One of our favorites. We love eating on the patio. Today was a special day. We only had appetizers. Four different appetizers at that. Focaccia Bread with olive oil and a soft cheese (think Burrata) with coarse sea salt. Bread was very tasty. Fire roasted mussels with a broth that was amazing. Mussels were perfectly cooked and meaty. (the focaccia dipped into the broth was amazing). Tiny peppers brought out a fabulous flavor with just a touch of heat Meatballs. Full of flavor and set atop crostini. Just a touch of mozzarella. And red sauce Roasted Golden Fingerling potatoes. Smash and pan fried a delicious. Touch of rosemary and sea salt. Dessert was the most amazing. Brûlée cheese cake with roasted blueberries and honey. The brûlée was perfectly executed and added a crunchy smoky flavor that top off a great meal Thanks for a great meal and service. Your staff was attentive but not cloying.    I've been going to my cousin Randy's midtown restaurant for years. I live now nearly 2 hours away but look forward to at least once per year to meet my daughter for a lunch/brunch date. When we make the date, I start to slobber just thinking about the eggs benedict. SAD to say... for who knows what reason, the chef has changed the eggs benedict. The eggs were hardly cooked -ewe- the English Muffin replaced with a dinner roll and he/she added a wilted sprig of spinach. Okay, maybe that might be someone's neuvo delight, but for us old guys, not so much. I'll be back next year, but won't be looking forward as much, with much less slobber :-( cite: Randy was the son of Sam Paragary, brother to my grandmother. I knew Sam, Randy and Bruce and were very close.

   Have been several times to this restaurant and have always had amazing meals, recently we have visited and had a very long wait for our main entrees. I got a pork chop which was supposed to be medium and was cooked medium rare and the seasoning was all over the place and too salty in certain spots. Other than that our other meals were 9/10 and the waiter was amazing.

   Had such a great brunch at Paragary’s! The food was super delicious, and the inside of the restaurant is seriously beautiful. Everything we had was delicious! Our server Marcos was awesome; super patient and kind. Big thank you to the lady at check-in for being so sweet and helpful with my sister-in-law’s stroller. It was her first time going out to eat with the baby, and they made her feel so comfortable. Really appreciated how accommodating they were. Definitely coming back!

   Always expect good food and service once you are seated. While waiting for your reserved table, there is limited space inside when the bar is packed.

   The restaurant has very nice decor. But the service was very slow. And my order was not complete. I ordered a salad with chicken. The salad came without the chicken. The server, Robert, said he didn’t hear me ask for chicken even though we discussed it right after he told me they couldn’t add grilled shrimp so I asked for grilled chicken and he said ok. My brother ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and luckily he offered to share his chicken with me. The server said it would take too long to bring me some chicken and that I could share my brother’s chicken. Our bill was high as well. He ordered a sangria and the salad with chicken. I ordered a lavender drop, crispy cauliflower and the butter leaf salad and the bill was $96!

   For great New American food, Paragary's is our long-time favorite spot in Midtown Sacramento. We started by splitting their wonderful Caesar salad, and it never disappoints. My wife ordered the lamb sausage pizza, and they happily substituted mozzarella for feta cheese, the latter being a huge allergy issue. I ordered the Bavette steak, done exactly right and it was very flavorful. We also had a medical emergency phone call at the start of the meal, and the staff graciously gave us space to complete that and get on with the evening.

    Loved our dinner at Paragary’s! It was a busy Saturday so we were glad that we made reservations in advance because the restaurant was packed. The food and service were amazing, we are definitely coming back!
