A popular destination in Half Moon Bay for 30 years, Pasta Moon Restaurant serves contemporary Italian cuisine using the freshest local produce available- in fact, easily the finest dining on the coast; (and not the most expensive!). Fantastic turkey dinner with all the sides. The best mashed potatoes I ever had and a lovely salad. and choc lava cake for dessert. Highly recommend.

I had looked at their menu online, and noticed a couple of new entrees that appealed to me. One of the new dishes was Swordfish, which I love, but is rarely seen on a menu. However, when we sat down and looked at the menu, there were no such newer dishes listed, particularly not the swordfish I craved. We settled for a few items to share for our Anniversary Dinner, but left disappointed. We did enjoy the Butterscotch Pudding though! An old favorite which we look forward to every time we’ve been there!

We had a wonderful evening with great food and friendly staff. We sat at the bar and our bartender kept us entertained and made us a few experimental cocktails which were fantastic. Can’t wait to go back

Everything we had was perfect as usual. We had the homemade sausage pizza for the first time and it will not be our last. So good. The service was top notch just like every other time we have been there.

We have been there 3 times now and every single time the food was exceptional. Every single item we have ordered salads, soup, appetizers, main courses and desserts were seasoned to perfection. I don't know how they do it, but it is always perfect. I fancy myself as quite a cook, but I am so impressed with their palates. The service is great, also, always there when you need them.

Food and ambiance were great. Service was solid until we opted not to get dessert and asked for our check. We were the last table in our section (at 6:50pm). We waited for the check; finally went to the bar at 7:10 pm and asked the person who cleared our table if it was still possible to get our check. Our wait person visited us at 7:15 pm with our check. They were apologetic, but made it clear they had been focused on serving their other patrons. Who knows how long we would have waited; if we had not gone looking for help. The whole experience ultimately felt very disrespectful.
