I was excited to eat here because it was my birthday. I got to my reservation early and they got me in immediately, however, it took quite a while for my waitress to get to my table and only after I asked for her. I ordered the salmon which was dry and was served with a scoop of bland rice and a couple over cooked bok choy. I didn't finish the meal. The waitress was very nice and offered to compensate me but I just wanted to leave. This is a gorgeous restaurant with high prices so I expexted a better meal.

It was an awesome experience! The food was delicious and gave large portions. The atmosphere was quiet. We sat next to the window so we had great views. The attendant was fantastic- our order was taken quickly and served within 10 minutes! The food was very flavorful. Dessert was fantastic. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and she loves the attention. Everything was perfect. We definitely want to come back again!!

We try to pick great restaurants for our dinner while vacationing. Since we wanted to take the tram anyway and the menu at The Peak seemed interesting, we got late afternoon tickets, saw a beautiful sunset, watched the lights come on across the valley and got a real surprise...the best meal so far in Palm Springs. The menu looked good; chef was supposed to be talented; prices were comparable to the restaurants we have been enjoying so we took a gamble not expecting greatness and hoping for good. We were astounded! We went to some of the big-name places in Palm Springs and have enjoyed a week of great dining, but The Peak amazed us. Service was good as one might expect. Some of the places we visited were nicer discounting the fact that we were at 8500 feet above sea level. The food was what surprised us. Great Osso Bucco and the Mushroom Ravioli was top notch! Best food on this vacation and a perfect Old Fashion too. We didn't expect this degree of fine dining as a part of our arial tram adventure, but we are so glad we gambled and were big winners!

Food was not comparable to the stellar meal we had there a month ago. Disappointing ribeye, steak,, clearly far more fat than I expected., And also somewhat tough. Veggies look wilted, and though not overcooked it wasn’t pleasant to look at. Roasted red potatoes seemed as if they were leftovers from the day before, and the entire plate seemed to be far too greasy than it should be. The rack of lamb had gravy on top, and this unexpected surprise, spoiled it for me. The weight staff seem to be shorthanded, which accounted for some of the poor service, but our waitress never asked if we would like a glass of wine and indeed we did not get the glass of wine until the meal was half over. Perhaps it was the crowd that was there last night, And I have to allow that with perhaps a short staff, they simply could not cope very well. I think peaks does better when there are a few fewer people waiting.

It had been several years (pro-COVID) since we'd eaten at Peaks. At the time, the prices were such that it made it reasonable to pay the tram fare too. Not this time. A very basic dinner for 4 was over $450 all-in (1 appetizer, 6 cocktails/glasses of wine, 4 entrees, 2 desserts, 4 tram tickets, parking). It would be nice if dining got you a discount on the team fare. Or if locals got a discount to get there. It was a nice evening, but we won't be back.

Dining at The Peaks is certainly a unique experience. The view from up there is simply breathtaking. We enjoyed a very leisurely dinner as we enjoyed the view of Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. The menu has a good variety of items especial considering the remote location. The food was well prepared and tree portions were large dsi show up hungry or think about sharing.

It was pretty and the food was good but none of us liked the tram ride up to the top. Packed like sardines. Other people having panic attacks, babies crying etc.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the food and the scenery. However, we sincerely apologize for the cramped conditions during the tram ride. We understand that having other passengers nearby can make such discomfort worse. Your feedback is very important to us, and we will look for ways to improve the ride experience for all our guests. We will share your concerns with the Tramway Operations team. We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back in the restaurant area in the future.
