Since 1975, this popular breakfast, brunch and lunch spot has satisfied the hunger cravings of British Columbians thanks to a tasty menu of sweet and savoury treats. Arrive hungry and order the signature Dutch Pannekoek, which tastes similar to a North American pancake but is only slightly thicker than a crepe. Fun fact: the large pannekoek can be cut into 113 square one-inch bites. Popular toppings for this substantial meal include The Canadian with bacon, eggs, tomatoes and maple syrup, and The Trail Mix with trail mix, honey and hot cinnamon-dusted apples. Went there for their Valentine’s Day 3 course menu and had a great time, they had a live musician that was amazing, the food was great just a little small on the portion size but was good regardless. Ambiance and vibe was really nice too.

Came here to celebrate our anniversary yesterday. Great food and great value. William the GM was exceptionally kind and treated me and my girlfriend very well. Thank you for your hospitality and we will definitely be coming back to Chop again! Crab cake was great, blue cheese bacon wedge salad was OK, furious fries are nice, chicken was great (wish it came with mashed potatoes like the picture!), lobster mac as a main instead of just a side would be amazing - I really enjoyed it (just wished there was more!), and the pink lemonade cocktail is dangerously good. Thank you once again!

My friends and I had an amazing experience here! The sushi here was great and the food came to us fairly quickly. The staff were active in making sure we had what we needed and they were super friendly as well! It was my friend’s birthday and they brought him out a dessert as a treat and he really appreciated it! After we finished up around 8:45, we realized that they had karaoke later in the night so we left and came back for it and it was so much fun. Everyone here was so kind and inviting, my friends and I are noting Kamei Royale as a spot to come back to in the future!

We went to blue canoe for dine out which was great, initially the appetizers took a while to come out, but after they did it was smooth sailing from there. The Risotto was really well done, crab cakes were nice, and overall we really enjoyed the experience. We were also in a rush to pick someone up from the airport, and after asking to receive the entree and dessert together, the wait staff was able to oblige to get us out faster. All in all, great seafood house in a great location.

The waitress was amazing I mentioned I had a good allergy and she was asking all the right questions before I could even say my speel. She was 🤩 wish I remember her name. I haven't been there in years but this visit will definitely make me re-add it to my downtown tour.
