- CCharlesVIPNew York City •29 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe have been coming to the restaurant since its opening in 1998, me as recently as last October. We felt the kitchen has never been better. We shared anchovies with butter on toast, the spaghetti pomodoro (perfectly executed and still justifying its legend), the pesce del giornio (a 2 pound American snapper) and the insalata di campo (well sourced lettuces and on point dressing). An interesting red from Piemonte. Warm, well informed, attentive service. Still one of our very favorite restaurants anywhere. Will continue to be a highlight of any San Francisco visit. Already anticipating our next meal here.More infoDelfina RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Italian• Mission District•4.8
- DDanielVIPWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoCurio SF has an amazing staff, amazing food, and just overall spectacular vibes. The outdoor patio is nice and intimate and the different bar spaces each have their own personality. The venue is great for shows (The Chapel), but don’t sleep on Curio for brunch, dinner, or drinks!!!More infoCurioPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Mission District•4.2

- RRobSan Francisco Bay Area •10 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 29, 2025We were excited for the mix of sushi and cooked options on the izakaya-style menu. The Echigo 49er roll and the Mummy roll were among a set of rolls unique to Echigo and were exceptional. As were the negiri from their "fresh today" menu. The mango avocado roll was unexpectedly extra-delicious. The potato croquette over rice with a curry gravy was a great accompaniment to the sushi. Good sake selections and some unusual beer options added to the charm of the fare. Great ambience, we look forward to exploring more of their menu!More infoEchigo Home CookPrice: Moderate• Sushi• Mission District•4.5
