Best Cozy Restaurants in Mattituck

Jedediah Hawkins is a special place -- great old building and a fabulous restaurant within. Everything is excellent !! Please try it out -- you will not be disappointed. Coming from a distance? -- spend the night for an extra special visit.

This is a really cute lunch spot and has nice views of the water. We got for appetizer Avocado Flatbread, was Delicious. For the main course we had Asian Bowl with tuna cooked perfectly and Tomassio pasta was really good! The only thing we didn’t particularly like is the berry ice tea.

My wife and I visited Dimon Estate Restaurant last night for restaurant week. The value was incredible. The food was par excellent. The staff was friendly and very attentive. My wife had the grilled shrimp appetizer and I had the cranberry Brie with honey. Both were delicious. We both had the pan seared salmon with the dill sauce over a generous amounts of a creamy purée of sweet potatoes and grilled asparagus. So yum! The desserts were on point. Especially, my go to favorite crème brûlée. All and all another great experience on a Fall Sunday night out on the NF!

Overall, the food was incredible . Atmosphere suffered from being a little dated and just old. I know the restaurant itself is old but the interior could still do with some fleshing up? Piano player was actually great! And I’ve never says this about this type of thing. Music was there but not too loud not intrusive at all. Will definitely go back!

Great experience. Service and food first class. Pricey but well worth it. Hand duck, wife had chicken scallapini , son had bass. All outstanding. Some of the best service I ever had
