Best Restaurants for Foodies in German Village

Great food, great service, great experience! It’s always tough deciding what to order at Z Cucina, but you’ll always end up with something delicious no matter what you end up choosing. The menu changes seasonally, and I’d highly recommend checking out the seasonal options whenever you visit, but the goat cheese and sundried tomato ravioli remain a favorite with me and the guests I’ve taken there. The service is wonderful, and the dishes are pretty reasonably priced for the portion and quality you receive. Overall, highly recommend visiting if you live in Columbus or if you’re visiting the city.

We had the set menu for Valentine’s Day It was terrific The empanadas were the best we even had with slow cooked lamb and baked in the oven with char marks We loved the steak ; very tender and melts in your mouth The risotto had a smoky flavor and not very rich Everything tasted fantastic The chef came around and greeted everyone Which made it even more special They are having an Italian menu from the chef inheritance and what he used to have growing up next month Can not wait

The lamb chops were the star of the meal. Cooked to perfection, they were beautifully seared on the outside, creating a delightful crust that locked in the juices. Each bite was tender and succulent, with a rich flavor that was enhanced by a delicate blend of spices. The seasoning was spot on, allowing the natural flavor of the lamb to shine while adding just the right amount of warmth and depth. The presentation was equally impressive, with the chops elegantly arranged on the plate, garnished with fresh herbs that added a pop of color.

First time there for Valentine’s Day. Really enjoyed our meal. Excellent food and service despite the fact that it was very busy because it was Valentine’s Day. Gallo‘s kitchen and bar serves high-quality food in a casual atmosphere. Staff is extremely friendly. It has an unusual mixture of continental Italian and New Orleans food. We had the gumbo for a starter, which was excellent as was the rest of the meal, steak for myself and lamb chops for my wife. Excellent experience. Highly recommended we intend to go back.

Our server, Brenden, was great! Knowledgeable, attentive and very friendly! Everyone that we came in contact with from the hostess stand to the manager was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed the luncheon Paella Barcelona and the vegetarian falafel plate.
