ONLINE ORDERING AVAILABLE - ilpalioct.comIl Palio was named after the race held each summer in Siena, Italy. Created with a passion, the restaurant has been exquisitely designed and beautifully finished with materials from all over the world. No stone was left unturned and time was not a factor in finding exactly what was required to make the "vision" a reality. The atmosphere created is one of quiet comfort in surroundings reminiscent of an Italian villa. The friendly and courteous staff, the outstanding food, and the efficient service all contribute to the ambiance felt by those who visit the restaurant. Il Palio's fine Tuscan cuisine is a pleasing combination of the highest-quality ingredients and the caring preparation by chefs who take pride in the dishes they present. Like the race in Siena, Il Palio is creating lasting impressions.

Voted Connecticut’s Best New RestaurantElm City Social evokes the spirit of the 1920s, bringing back to life the craftwork of cocktails that has been lost until now. In the kitchen, Chef John Brennan draws you in with seasonally inspired menus that can only be described as “comfort food with a flavorful twist.” People love our style; we were even named one of the Best New Restaurants this year by Connecticut Magazine. We’re located inside the historic building that once housed Kasey's Restaurant in the early 1900's. By the corner of Chapel and College Streets, we're situated across the street from the famed Shubert Theater and just off the New Haven Green. Join us today.

Room and ambience very relaxing. Cocktail and wine selection delicious. Halibut good but could have been tastier. Too many artichokes. Brownie for dessert was crusty but ice cream delicious. Service very attentive.

Our family had a special dinner on a Saturday, enjoying something from every part of the menu (signature cocktails and mocktails; appetizers, entrees and desserts). Flavor galore. Our server, Lincoln, was attentive, made great suggestions and helped make it a perfect evening. The night was made extra special when a young couple a few tables away got engaged to the applause of all. In the car ride back to our house, the five of us each sang the praises of Millwrights. Top Shelf evening.

We had the 7 course chef’s experience with wine pairing. Absolutely outstanding! The first course was unbelievably delicious. Yet somehow each course got even better. Wine selection was beautifully paired. Waiter was attentive and very helpful with descriptions. Loved our experience.
