Best Live Music Restaurants in Baker

What a lovely, quiet, unrushed lunch my friend and I had at "The Hornet"!! I had not been there in YEARS, having moved away from a close-by neighborhood, and I was thrilled. The MENU was extensive and varied; the food was fabulous; our table was spaced so that no one felt crunched into another table's conversation or occupants; our waitress, Abby, was very friendly and helpful; the entire atmosphere was conducive to having a great dining experience! Seriously. Re-visit "The Hornet" if you haven't been there in a while. GREAT!!

The restaurant has great colors and lighting. The open concept means the noise is at a reasonable level even with a full house. Service was great. What we loved were guacamole, the queso birria tacos, the vegan tacos and the plantains. The items that were okay were the adobo tacos and the molotes (which the teen described as a fancy jalapeño popper). The churros and margaritas were good. Altogether a tasty dinner with really good service and reasonably priced. We would try an original drink and the mole next time.

Always a great time at Culinary Dropout, and this time they were serving up Denver Restaurant Week pricing. Amazing value, always tasty food and very consistent and good service.

Fun place. Not traditional bar food. Much better.
