- JJohnSan Diego •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoGreat little high end restaurant. Conveniently located in downtown Escondido although currently the road is under construction. No noise in the evening, however. Nicely decorated for ambiance. The staff is so friendly and nice. Casey was our waiter. Excellent service. The food, ( this was a pre-designed meal for Valentine’s Day) was outstanding. It came out in 6 courses, I think. Steak and lobster was very good as the main course. Cocktails were great! It was a bit pricey but other than that, a great experience.More infoCollette’sPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Escondido•4.6
- JJeanneSan Diego •10 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoDrove in from Temecula—short beautiful drive through the mountains. Immediately found parking nearby across the street from Mille Fleurs. The ambience is like no other; old school wood, decor and menu with something for everyone. Love that the menu had favorites that were 40 years old. Had the almond crusted seabass that was so tender. The beet salad was perfect—don’t forget to eat the accompanying horseradish dressing. Don’t skip the bread and butter. Wonderful gem in Rancho Santa Fe.More infoMille FleursPrice: Very Expensive• French American• Rancho Santa Fe•4.8
- PPhilipSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWhat a great time. Yeah. The day before Valentine’s Day—that’s when the real ones, the ones who aren’t amateurs, take their honeys out. And yep, the food. Seriously, the cioppino. The Swiss is known for its lobster bisque, but this was on another level. The shrimp popped in your mouth, the salmon was so good my girl had to take some home just because we were stuffed. And the next day? After a long day fighting traffic, that salmon was still incredible. The waiter? Amazing. Don’t remember his name, but man, he was memorable—one of the best we’ve had. Super personable, we clicked right away. And the mussels in the cioppino? The sea bass? Wow. Only thing missing? Music. I know it was a Wednesday, but come on—North County has enough ambitious musicians who would play for free. Just someone with a guitar, Monday to Sunday. That’s all.More infoBellamy's RestaurantPrice: Moderate• American• Escondido•4.4
- SSuzanneVIPSan Diego •35 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoA few days ago we had the most delicious feast at the Black Angus! Literally. We ordered the Campfire Feast and it sure is! We chose the shrimp to share, we each made our choices for entre and sides from a long list, then split the carrot cake. Everything was perfect and delicious and, Theresa, our server, timed our whole meal just right so nothing arrived too soon. That's important too. And, to make it even better, we saved some money because we're Rewards members and used our special offer. You just can't beat it! We will be back real soon!More infoBlack Angus Steakhouse - EscondidoPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Escondido•4.2
