The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor.     Hubby and I went to Anthony's for our Valentine's dinner, and we were not disappointed. We ate in the upstairs dining area, and we loved the rustic atmosphere, with its old stone walls and the wall of wine bottles. The calamari was probably the best we've ever had, if not the best. My husband's salmon was perfect, and I had the filet mignon. I was a little worried that ordering filet mignon from an Italian restaurant instead of a steak house might not be wise. I had nothing to worry about. It was excellent! Perfectly cooked to medium rare, as I requested, and topped with a delicious mushrooms sauce. Our only complaint was that we were too full to finish it there. But not to worry, we boxed up the leftovers, and are looking forward to enjoying them again at home! Love this place.

    White Dog Chester Springs was a great experience for me and my family. The restaurant is gorgeous, both inside and out. Very cozy and comfortable! Our waitress Gail was wonderful. Food was delicious and perfectly seasoned. Nice broad selection of menu items to please everyone’s tastes. Dessert was delicious…I highly recommend the Coconut Rice Pudding! It is a little pricey but the food truly is delicious and the experience is top-notch.
