Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in West Los Angeles

Our very favorite fish and chips in all of LA. Succulent big pieces with crispy beer batter. Love the desserts as well. Only time we stray away from our usual King order of fish and chips is when we have out of town guests and we’ll order up some bangers and mash to have a variety.

I did a Valentine prix-fixe dinner. It came with several beautiful courses. It was extremely expensive, but I’d do it again. We made an early reservation for 6pm because we had a 7:30 show to catch, but when we arrived at 5:50pm the restaurant was still being set up. There was an awkward moment with the staff telling us we could wait inside and then someone else asking us to wait outside, so if a manager from the restaurant reads this I’d recommend being ready a bit sooner to avoid that situation (or have a plan if you’re not). Once they were ready at a little past 6 we were seated and the service was lovely. The ambiance was so romantic, the singer had a gorgeous voice, and the show girls walking around in feathers added a mysterious and sexy vibe. Would go again and do recommend.

We dined at the Apres-Ski Swiss Chalet pop up, and it was much more than a meal, it was truly an experience! A special evening in an exquisite setting, perfect for our family on the day before Christmas Eve. Service was excellent, food and drinks were delicious. We felt transported to the another place! Bravo!
