- JJeffSt. Louis •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFrom the moment we walked in, the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The entrees were delivered promptly and hot. Our waiter was extremely friendly and helped explain the kofta entree which I ordered and really enjoyed. The hummus was also very good. As you’d expect in this type of restaurant. Solid experience. I would def go back and would also recommend it to friends.More infoPan D'OlivePrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Richmond Heights•4.8

Next the mushroom and black truffle soup followed by the fish sandwich of the day.More infoCasa Don Alfonso - The Ritz-Carlton St. LouisPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Clayton•4.4
- CClayVIPSt. Louis •24 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoHi, it was a cold winter night here in St. Louis. I made a last-minute reservation in the app and we sat in the bar. The noise level was very small in the bar, which is unusual but it made for an enjoyable evening with friends. Our waiter was new, Luke. However, he was attentive and did a great job. He’s gonna do great. Food was cooked to perfection and actually came out relatively quick. More infoFleming's Steakhouse - St. LouisPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Frontenac•4.5
- KKarlVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •184 reviews4.0Dined on Sep 8, 2024This weekend evening at dinner time when the local baseball game was on-going should have provided personalized and individualized care. However, with one bartender and one server (I so no food runner or assistants or managers either) the service was slow. When it happened, the server was marginal but the bartender, Toni, was absolutely fabulous! She not only made you feel welcome and appreciated, she made the BEST Paper Plane in the Universe! The mix of doos that we selected was well presented and tasty. The menu however is very small and Pennydrop is more of an upscale bar with a small bar menu as opposed to a full service restaurant with an amazing bar. When the baseball game finished and a crowd from the game flowed in, the service slowed even further and lines at the bar were much longer. With a few more staff members, the experience would have been maximized. Regardless of this, I will be back for my next Paper Plane before I head out of town.More infoPennydrop Bar + KitchenPrice: Moderate• American• St. Louis•3.5

With there only being two bays it is quiet enough for a romantic meal and enough space for a nice size group.
