Best Family Style Restaurants in Forest Hills

My daughter & I loved the restaurant. It wasn’t the first time I was there and every time I’m in the city I will definitely go back. The meals are family style, but the prices are very good. The taste of the food is always wonderful and the service is very quick for the amount of people in the restaurant. I recommend this restaurant, especially for those going to a play. They serve a great lunch & dinner. You won’t be disappointed.

Great chicken wing appetizer. Interesting and different, crunchy wings but covered in onions and peppers… loved it! Eggplant parm was wonderful the sauce is excellent. Side of pasta is included and really good quantity . Super nice workers. Pleasant vibe. Will return!!!

Excellent as always. Falansai's full tasting menu, what's now called the 'Super' Dac Biet, has been a regular feature of our birthday/anniversary dinner rotation for years now (I maintain you're doing it wrong if you only order ala carte here) and it's always a blast. The team does an amazing job of making really high-end, inventive cooking feel fun and casual. I have to give a huge shout-out to the beverage program as well; Falansai's wine list might have the most reasonable prices of any decent restaurant in New York right now (a five-course wine pairing for $65 in this day and age is nuts) and there's always something interesting and unexpected on offer. Even the really baller bottles (which you might have to ask to see the reserve list to know about in the first place), which are often on par with the best wine you can buy anywhere in the city, are sold at astoundingly fair prices. Falansai is a gem of an increasingly rare breed in NYC.

As always an absolutely amazing time! The staff, food and place is simply incredible! A hidden gem in the heart of Ridgewood! Definitely must try and I tell everyone about it! Love this place!

The waiter was quick on his feet and got us a table quickly, considering amount of people there. Food was delicious and the wine was top quality. I also appreciated how waiter dealt with a situation at table next to us with a person who was loitering around. He handled it professionally and without repercussions. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
