Beauty & Essex has an innovative design that starts in the restaurant’s entrance, a well-curated modern-day pawn shop replete with a saxophone, boom­box, quirky artifacts, vintage treasures, and an eclectic array of “one-off” pieces of jewelry. Continuing past the pawnshop, guests encounter a grand, circular staircase wrapped around a two-story custom chandelier, but only the adventurous will discover all that Beauty & Essex has to offer. With four distinct dining rooms (one private), two bars, a lounge, and a women’s bathroom complete with a salon including a luxurious sofa, and antique perfume bottles. The cuisine, much like the design, is intended to set a new course.     This one lives up to the hype! Every dish we had was memorable and something we’d come back for! Grilled cheese dumplings, kale & apple salad, miso eggplant, truffle mac & cheese and beef Wellington all highly recommended… the steak was super tender and tasty (we were skeptical). Oh and the espresso martini! You won’t be disappointed!

    Do yourself a favor and transport yourself to Mars for an evening. Delightfully weird and tremendously tasty, this innovative restaurant is a guaranteed good time. Paul D'avino and co are all stars as creating a welcoming atmosphere and unforgettable meal. From the cocktails to the pastas to the science behind melty cheese - top notch meal. No notes!

    This was our 18th wedding anniversary & chose to celebrate it somewhere new. The ambiance was amazing. Our server was very attentive & the service was amazing. Everything came out right on time which was greatly appreciated. We had chicken & vegetable spring rolls which were amazing. My husband ordered sweet & sour chicken which he loved & I ordered beef & broccoli which was good but I felt the beef was a lil chewy. My drink Mai Tai wasn’t that good but the mistaken drink Brooklyn was amazing. We will be back again in the future to try some other food.
